Lumnite is a normal setting, rapid hardening Calcium Aluminate Cement with good early strength. It is characterized by its anthracite/gray color and is particularly suitable for applications in which the look of Portland cement is desired.

In building chemistry, Lumnite is typically used in flooring products. Due to its very good resistance to aggressive biogenic sulfuric acid corrosion, Lumnite® is also used in sewage applications.

Lumnite is traditionally produced for the U.S. market.
