In building chemistry, Lumnite is typically used in flooring products. Due to its very good resistance to aggressive biogenic sulfuric acid corrosion, Lumnite® is also used in sewage applications.
Lumnite is traditionally produced for the U.S. market.

- Anthracite/gray
- Refractoriness up to 1350°C
- High abrasion resistance
- Very good resistance to biogenic sulfuric acid corrosion
