We participated at the first Central and Mediterranean European Conference on New Technologies, Society, and Development

We had an enriching experience at the first Central and Mediterranean European Conference on New Technologies, Society, and Development held in Pula from July 15th to 17th, 2024!

We were thrilled to participate in this great event that brought together esteemed academics and industry specialists to foster innovation and advance technological knowledge across various scientific disciplines.

The conference featured dynamic research presentations and debates, promoting cooperation among experts from diverse fields. This collaborative effort between academic institutions and global companies from different industries demonstrated our commitment to advancing and sharing knowledge in the field of technology, which enables the innovation and digitalization we are committed to at Calucem.

We were proud to be part of the Round Table Discussion: Science, Technology, and Society – Industry 4.0 and SMEs’ Expectations from Academia, where we discussed the disconnect between academia and industry regarding skill sets and expectations. Additionally, Calucem presented our scholarship program «Grow with Us,» which we run in collaboration with the Technical Faculty in Pula for the academic year 2024/2025 to support and attract new talents.

We look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts with the Faculty on innovative projects, demonstrating that theoretical knowledge can support industry.
